The other day I came across a neat link on my Facebook. A link to a live feed camera, that is observing a wild barn owl. She is patiently awaiting the hatching of her owlets that are due any day now. We find ourselves checking in on her throughout the day and night, because it is so exciting and you just never know exactly when those owlets are going to hatch. Her name is Molly and her mate is McGee. McGee makes a couple food drops throughout the day and stops in to check on her. Molly is very diligent in making sure she turns her eggs and that she does not over heat them. It really is quite amazing to observe her.
