Conditions for answered prayer;
Does GOD promise to answer everyone's prayers? No. GOD doesn't promise to answer every prayer the way we want.
1. You must have an honest relationship with GOD
John 15:7
How do you remain Christ? You gotta have His word in you, and you will have an honest relationship with GOD.
How do you know you are abiding in Christ?
Have I admitted the things I have done wrong in the past?
Psalm 66:18
Isaiah 59:2
If we are hiding sin in our lives we break our connect with Christ
1John 1:8-9
Am I currently ignoring any of GOD's principles?
1John 3:21-23
Because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him
We are imperfect, so how do we please Him?
By being obedient! Not by being perfect.
Do I really want GOD's will for my life?
1John 5:14
I must ask in accordance to His will!
Ask GOD "is my life in your will?"
"Love GOD and do what you please"- St. Augustine
2. You must have a forgiving attitude towards other people;
Mark 11:24-25
If you hold unforgiveness in your heart, it hinders your prayers with the Father.
Do not allow bitterness to spring up in your life.
1Peter 3:7
3. You must be willing to share the results;
Proverbs 21:13
This is the principle of generosity!
Be obedient to GOD's principles!
If we turn a deaf ear to legitimate needs around us, why should GOD listen to us and answer our prayers?
1John 3:22, 23
Dear children let us not love with words, but with deeds and actions.
1John 3:17 (take this personally!)
Sometimes we do not receive because we are not willing to give!
James 4:3
Motive is important in your prayers!
Why you pray is just as important as what you pray.
How you give is how you get, it is equal sacrifice!
4. You must believe GOD will answer;
Matt. 9:29
If you believe GOD will do it, that is faith.
We need to quit having little faith!
Ask GOD for the gift of faith.
Ask in faith expecting!
5. You must pray in Jesus' name;
John 14:13,14
What is so special about Jesus' name?
Jesus' name is a reminder that I have no right to be in the throne room.
Go to the Father with Jesus' permission and the Father will listen.
The Father's reputation is on the line because of the Son.
6. Never give up!
Luke 11:5-13
Be persistent, keep asking.
Don't be discouraged!
GOD is faithful! He will never give up on you!
Hospitality is HUGE!!!!
How to keep daily stress from stressing me out;
1. Relationships, in your relationships keep short accounts.
Philippians 4:2,3
Get a third party to help you out
Let each other off the hook
Romans 12:18-
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with one another."
2. In my attitude, preset it to joy;
Philippians 4:4,5
This verse is a command, not a request!
John 15:11
"Have I told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
How do I preset my life for joy?
Joy is my default....
1. Be obedient to GOD's word
John 15:9-11 (this promise is conditional)
GOD's word trumps everything in my life. (I need to get there.)
Psalms 119:102-104
2. Surround myself w/good positive friends
My friends are never neutral
1 Corinthians 15:33
Some friends are here for a reason, and some friends are here for a season.
No friends are better than bad friends!
3. Take time to Rest!
Set boundaries for rest, or I'll be crabby

The sabbath is set aside for me, to refuel and enjoy it!
If I don't get proper rest, I will not be able to preset my life for joy
Rest, don't be lazy!

People are looking for community more and more, it is a desire

It is OK to have fun!
Philippians 4:6-7
Don't be anxious about anything.....
Off Load Onto GOD;
Get a prayer journal, make a list of what makes you anxious that you think about during prayer and write it down. What you can do something about, do it. The other stuff lift up to the Lord. It will lessen the emotional energy associated with it.

Love Your Enemies;
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, if you love those who love you-what reward will you get? Do not even the pagans do that?
1. Hating our enemies is an easy emotion to have
It does not matter that someone labels me as their enemy, as long I choose not to label them as my enemy.
Most often our enemies are those we know best!
Who is that you cannot pray for, or forgive, or talk to, or love?
2. I command you to love them
Jesus does not expect us to have the same affection for a murderer as your child.
Choosing benevolence is choosing to love our enemies.
But how do I do that?
1. Pray for those who persecute you
Matt. 5:44
Start praying for your enemies, and GOD will change your heart.
2. Behave like GOD's child
Our love for people comes from the longing to be in the family of the Lord.
Jesus wants us to love one another like we have seen Him love us!
Jesus has NEVER been vindictive toward us...
